Visit and Tour of the Newport Museum has been booked and starts at 11 am
(Please arrive at the Newport Museum by 10.45am)
This will be an introduction to the Museum in English (20-30 mins) followed by a viewing of sketches kept in the archives (20 mins) of the exiled German Artist Hans Feibusch (1898-1998), whose work was reviled and then banned by the Nazis and later included in the notorious Degenerate Art Exhibition of 1937. Feibusch made a major artistic contribution to the reconstruction of post-war Britain through his extraordinary series of mural paintings.
We need to book the tour size and the number of tables for lunch at 1 pm (The Pen & Wig Pub is a 5 min walk away) in advance and therefore ask you to let us know if you plan to attend before 7/11/24:
